The development of food digesters is a direct result of a better understanding of the origins and fates of unconsumed food. These machines have been created with prevention as the primary goal, ensuring that only material unsuitable for human or animal consumption is ultimately considered waste. Our food digesters are designed to eliminate the need for external waste disposal by digesting food waste on-site in just 24 hours without emitting any unpleasant odors or noise. By implementing these liquid food digesters, organizations can significantly reduce the cost and effort required to manage waste food. Furthermore, they eliminate the problems of smells, mess, and pests associated with traditional trash bins.

One of the key benefits of using our food waste and compostable packaging digesters is that they allow for a reduction in the amount of space and energy required for the disposal of unwanted food scraps. Unlike traditional methods, food does not need to be collected, transported, or piled up in a landfill. In addition to these benefits, our food digesters are unique in their ability to digest compostable packaging and plant-based plastics like PLA and PHA. This further lowers waste stream and cost, and gives organizations on-site control over a larger portion of their total waste.

FAQ about food digesters

How could food digesters work as sustainable development?

When wasted food is buried in a landfill, methane (CH4) and other gases are produced. That is why landfills have a foul odor. Methane is 72 times more harmful to the environment than carbon dioxide (CO2). Because methane is one of the primary causes of global warming, several countries and organizations are working to reduce methane emissions.
Instead, CO2 is produced as a natural cycle when waste food decomposes in our food composter. It is both environmentally friendly and safe.
After all, our food composters emits natural CO2 and completely greens the earth.

Are any chemicals used in the food digesters

No. All of our processes use microbes and water to break down organic waste. Microorganisms are extremely common and environmentally friendly. They exist in close proximity to us and are in charge of digesting various forms of garbage. Our food and compostable packaging digester  simply activates microorganisms and speeds up the degradation of organic waste. Within 24 hours, our iuid qlfood composter can breakdown waste foods.

Would the output of the liquid food digesters be harmful?

NO. All of our products are meant to be environmentally friendly, and all of our processes rely on environmentally friendly microbes and water. Microorganisms are extremely common and can be found all around us. Even microorganisms found in our products are not dangerous to humans unless they are consumed.
Furthermore, all of our products produce solely water and CO2 as a result of the activation of microbes. It completely greens discarded food. All of these products are environmentally friendly and circulate naturally.

Does the food composters have a distinctive smell?

No. EXBIO has a mechanical door seal, which eliminates the possibility of leaking. Deodorization systems, as well as an automatic water/flush system, are available from the liquid food digester   Furthermore, our microbes have their own scents, allowing them to detect odor.
Furthermore, the breakdown is used to speed up the natural process so that no odor or smell is produced.
The fallen leaves from trees, for example, disintegrate in nature. There is no odor associated with this procedure. Food digester  follows the same procedure. This is just accelerated by our machine.

Does de food digester ever need to be turned off?

The answer is simple… No.

Is there any residue left over that needs to be removed at all?

All food waste goes right down the drain there is no food left to remove ever.

How does the food digester weigh the amount of waste food?

There are load cells mounted on each corner of the digester. These weigh the total weight of the digester. On installation, the software calibrates itself so it knows the empty weight. From there, the software knows how much is in the food composter and how much is added each time. has different sizes of digesters. How do we determine what size of food digesters to buy?

Every day, weigh the waste and keep track of it. If you can’t weigh the waste food every day for a week, weigh it on Saturday, Monday, and Wednesday. Take the average. A machine’s capacity is also determined by the length of your working day. You’ll need a smaller machine if you add the same amount of waste food at regular intervals over an 18-hour day than if you dispose of the same amount of waste food over an eight-hour day.

Is the food composter a batch process?

No. You add waste food at any time. The machine is constantly digesting the waste.

Is the food-composter chopping or grinding up the waste food?

The fresh waste food is mixed with the old waste food and the Powerzymes in the digester (microorganisms). The decomposition of discarded food mostly creates water, CO2, and heat. Small pieces of undigested food will reach the exit stream if waste food is chopped or crushed, raising TSS (total suspended solids) and BOD levels (biological oxygen demand). The digester’s motor is only used to combine, or slowly swirl, the waste. It only operates for a fraction of the time, reducing the amount of electricity used.
